Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actor, director, producer, playwright and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk posted on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that the production was set to begin on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on social media.
